Pension Telč No. 20 is situated in the heart of the historic center of Telč, on Zachariáš of Hradec Square, one of the most beautiful squares in the world, protected by UNESCO.
Since 2007, in a newly renovated 15th-century house, we offer a cozy family pension that will enchant you with its friendly and peaceful atmosphere. Some of our rooms provide a breathtaking view of the most picturesque part of the square.
You can choose from five double rooms with private bathrooms and toilets, two suites – a studio and a garden house – atelier. Our bathrooms are equipped with hotel cosmetics, soft terry towels, bath towels, and a hairdryer. The rooms are equipped with TV and free Wi-Fi.
A rich breakfast buffet is served in the historic 15th-century room on the lower part of the house. In good weather, you can enjoy breakfast in the picturesque courtyard in the shade of a mature lime tree.
House No. 20, where we have established our pension, is one of the very old bourgeois houses. The oldest part of the house – the cellars – dates back to the second half of the 13th century. Originally, the house also included fields around the city. According to the oldest surviving records in the Town Urbarium related to our house, the house was bought in 1543 by the butcher Holoubek, who also farmed the fields purchased with the house. At that time, the house also included a farm with a barn and warehouses in the back tract. Today, this area is a courtyard garden with an atelier.
